Say Goodbye to Brush Marks: How M-1 Additive & Extender Helps Your Woodwork Paint Jobs

When it comes to woodwork, spraying will always deliver the best results. However, there are times when spraying isn’t possible, and we have to apply the paint by hand. One issue I often face when using a brush or mini roller to apply latex or oil-based paint is the tendency for brush marks to appear. The paint begins to dry quickly, making it harder to spread evenly.

I used to struggle with this until I discovered M-1 additive and extender. They offer products for both latex and oil-based paints. I typically add it once the paint starts to thicken and becomes more difficult to work with. This additive helps thin the paint, reducing brush strokes and extending the drying time. While it may not provide the same finish as spraying, it’s good enough to fool some.
